A Request

Dear Readers,

I have had this website, or blog, for about 14 years now, having started in 2011.  Though I started it for the purpose of writing down various observations both theological and otherwise and sharing it with others, over time it has morphed into a place where I put my sermon manuscripts.  Through the years, on this website I have shared my work on 1 Timothy, the first several chapters of the gospel of Matthew, Ephesians, Hebrews, Revelation, and now we are working back through Romans.  

These manuscripts are not for those who are looking for a quick five-minute read, so I have never assumed that my blog would ever have a large readership.  However, in the past several months, the number of views has catapulted dramatically.  Just to put things in perspective, 10% of the number of views that this blog has had over its 14 year history happened last month alone, and the trend seems to be towards further increase.  

This is puzzling to me, because I really don't know why this is the case, or why now.  Frankly, with the rise of AI, I wonder if that has something to do with it.  Though I do know from the limited correspondence I get here some of the views at least are genuinely human, I do wonder how much of the percentage is real human interaction.
